We've made some amazing updates to Parlay. See below.

1. Course Chat Box 💬

We have introduced a chat box for each Parlay course. This is an easy way for teachers to communicate directly with the students, and for the students to communicate to teachers / the rest of the class. This can be used for troubleshooting and even a backchannel chat during a Live RoundTable. Teachers can also turn the chat OFF, so students can't add comments.

2. Live RoundTable Sentence Stems 🌱

Teachers can now set "sentence stems" for students to review during the Live RoundTable. These sentence stems are organized according to tap-in type (new idea, build on, challenge, question). This feature will help students frame their participation during the Live RoundTable, in the same way that the "Guided Feedback Questions" help students frame their comments in an Online RoundTable.

3. Live RoundTable Question and Resource Visibility 👀

Teachers can turn on/off visibility for resources and questions during a Live RoundTable. This means that, as the RoundTable unfolds, you can release resources and questions as they become pertinent to the discussion. It helps with scaffolding the activity, and makes it easier for students to digest the information.
